Amy is chief designer and CEO of Duende. She forges deep partnerships with executives and changemakers to design the materials and processes they need to ignite the change they want to lead, in their organizations and in the world. Over her 20+ year career, she has helped hundreds of leaders and teams from organizations, businesses and networks, including Amyris, Applied Materials, the Center for Cultural Power, the Delta Conservancy, Dolby, Forward Together, Garfield Foundation, Genentech, IBM, Moore Foundation, Microsoft, Movement Strategy Center, Mozilla, Poetry Flash, and Social Transformation Project. She founded Duende in 2014 to form a team and design practice aligned to the purpose of creating beauty and facilitating sensemaking in service of a better world for all. Amy lives by the ocean with her partner and two children.
